Umbrellas and rain boots (green and white polka dot, might I add!) were essential for this charming, outdoor occasion. Shannon and Alex may have woken up to rain on their windowpane, but the sunshine was ever so apparent within the floral color choices and their warm hearts. This laid back, organic wedding encompassed all things Northern Michigan, incorporating nature and a vibrant summertime feel. The centerpieces were very well fitting to the “up north” vibe as black lanterns, birch branches, hops, green apples, sunflowers, hydrangeas, green cabbage and more overflowed from the tables focal point. The bridal bouquet was extravagant in color, displaying a variety of yellow flowers throughout and bound tightly together with a burlap wrap.
